I am really pleased with the final version of my personal website. I wanted to keep it quite simple and clean, enabling my to put the focus solely on the illustrations, which I think it does well.
I wanted the images to be big and bold and eye catching, rather than smaller and having more visible at the top of the page. The idea behind this is to encourage people to keep scrolling to view more work.
So after completing the original brief, nearly in full! NBC have asked me to start the brief again, with the illustrations at a different angle. During the meeting, I had to discuss that I would require seperate payment for my time on the adjustments, as they involve pretty much redoing the entire brief. It was a bit uncomfortable discussing payment with a client, especially being on my own in a boardroom, surrounded by employees of NBC (including the owner) however I was clear and professional in my approach and the offer was accepted.
I have decided to mock up some business cards for my personal use and for BRUSHUP as well. I am still not 100% sure on the validity of business cards, however I will probably look to produce some to give out at Hanbury pt 2.
